Empowering People Out Of Poverty

I have had the privilege of sponsoring a child in Ethiopia for the past several years. Hadiza is a bright young girl that I have been able to see grow up into a teenager of 13 years and is doing well. I am able to send communications to her and have enjoyed sending her birthday and holiday wishes, as well as receiving artwork and letters from her. My support provides assistance to her community as well as her individual needs for food, clothing and shelter. Hadiza has been able to attend school and work on attaining an education, which can make a significant difference in her options once she reaches adulthood. The ability to help cover some of her basic needs enables her to work towards a better future and the hope of rising above the poverty and hunger that she was born into. The impact that you can make on someone half way around the world is unbelievable. Doug
